It agonizes you everyday. You're sitting on your couch at night with your television on and see beautiful men and women with perfect smiles, perfect skin, and perfect bodies. You flip through channels and come across old Baywatch re-runs, witnessing all those rock-solid abs. You envy all of this. In contrast, you look at yourself in the mirror and notice your unsightly love handles and wonder how anyone could possibly find you attractive. You reflect on the past remembering how confident you once were when you didn't have them. Now you're stuck wondering how to get rid of your love handles.
- Healthy Nutrition or Diet
- Abdominal Training
- Cardiovascular Program
The first two are common-sensical. For breakfast, instead of eating muffins or danishes, have some whole wheat toast with peanut butter or whole wheat bagel. For lunch, if you enjoy eating chicken, have a grilled chicken salad instead. For dinner, have flounder or salmon. Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day. If you're usually the type to have second helpings, drop it! Always monitor your calorie intake, but don't starve yourself, which will only exacerbate your problem and cause you to eventually eat a lot. When it comes to dieting, you must be dedicated, disciplined, and committed.
For exercise, concentrate on abdominal work. Do crunches, leg raises, torso twists or lying pelvic twists, and standing side bends. Abdominal exercise will help boost your metabolism and target your love handles. Again, dedication, discipline, and commitment are critical for abdominal training.
The last tip on how to get rid of love handles is having a cardiovascular program. Some examples of cardiovascular workouts include walking, running, jogging, cycling, etc. It's essential to stretch the muscles and warm-up prior to your cardiovascular workout. Many people are tempted to incorporate supplements into their program, but most are ineffective.
In short, three quick ways of how to get rid of love handles include having a healthy diet, abdominal training, and cardiovascular exercising. With discipline and commitment, this should enable you to regain your self-confidence.
